Project Overview

In this project, FAM Montaža was responsible for the installation of the new steam central system at Clinic Dortmund, including the assembly and welding of black steel pipes as well as the installation of a Wiesmann hot water boiler. The system was specifically optimized for the generation and distribution of steam and hot water to meet the high demands of a medical facility.

Challenges & Solutions

Working in a Medical Facility
To minimize disruptions to the clinic's operation, the work was conducted in coordinated time slots.

The black steel pipes were processed with specialized welding methods to meet high-pressure and high-temperature requirements.

Quality Assurance through Radiographic Testing
All welds were checked using radiographic imaging (RT) to ensure the highest level of safety and longevity.
